We Enhance and Restore Aquatic Ecosystems for the Wildlife and Communities that Depend on Them.

Sea & Shoreline’s founder, Jim Anderson, started his career cultivating lawn grasses of various species to accompany his nursery operations. Jim ventured into seagrass when a local favorite fishing area was threatened with closure to boats due to extensive propeller scarring. He argued that repairing seagrass was more logical and began developing technologies to address seagrass restoration needs.

As a turf farmer/grower, he felt that using his farming skills and retooling them for aquatic restoration needs would be a logical transition.

Since then, the company has not only successfully restored countless rivers, lakes, lagoons, and estuaries but also pioneered innovative technologies that help to ensure the long-term success of restoration projects.

Our Work

Since 2014, Sea & Shoreline has completed aquatic restoration projects across Florida, North Carolina, and beyond. Our work has always been centered on creating healthier, more resilient waterways and coastlines for both marine life and communities. Backed by scientifically validated, patented technologies and proven processes, Sea & Shoreline delivers restoration solutions built for long-term success, not just regulatory sign-off.
